Edward Larfin

Although Edward Larfin was born with Cerebral Palsy, he leads a rich life as a writer and philosopher.

It was during high school that Edward began writing poetry, a practice that would be magnified after the death of his father. But the catalyst to his focus on poetry was inspired by a program he saw on “Sunday Morning” which aired a segment that discussed mentally retarded poets. Edward began to write poetry about a topic that he was very familiar with… the Bible.

Since that time, Edwards’s poems have appeared in a number of publications, including The Beth David Bulletin, News Letter, The Main Line Hadassah and Night Roses, a poetry magazine. His poems continue to be an inspiration to other people and Edward states, “If I can help one person through my poetry, it’s worth it!”
